We ordered this tarp to enclose a screened-in porch on a relatively permanent basis. The tarp is sturdy and grommets are well-secured. We pushed rubber beveled faucet washers partially inside the grommets - size 0 - 17/32". Then we used #8 screws, 1.5" in length - stainless steel or exterior deck screws to hold the washers and grommets in place. This was our test tarp. We now plan to order additional tarps to enclose the entire screened-in areas. We rated the tarps as 4 rather than 5 because the grommets are not spaced evenly - only approximately. When the tarp arrived it had some crease marks where it was folded for shipping. We laid the tarp out in the sun for about 2 hours, which worked well in getting rid of the creases. In warm weather, the tarp stretches somewhat, so it was pretty easy to get the tarp to look smooth during the hanging process.
